Why some videos are present in my recommend video list, even when it is not recommended by me?
It is the special feature of Watchyoulike. When you are watching a particular video, some players like YouTube player will give you the related videos of the current playing video. If you are logged in and tried to play any of that related video, the watched video will automatically recommended to the Watchyoulike site. Due to this internal process, some videos appearing on your pending/active recommendation list.
How can I become a top user in Watchyoulike?
Top users are selected weekly. If you acquire more points in a week by your activities in Watchyoulike, you will be listed as a top user in 'Featured Users' section.
How will I get points?
You will get points, when you perform the following actions in Watchyoulike:
- Playing a video in Watchyoulike
- Giving comments to a video
- Recommending videos to Watchyoulike
Why some videos are present in my favorite video list, even when it is not added by me?
When you watch a video 3 times or more it will be added to your favorite list. This facility is available for logged users only.
How do I add a video to my favorite list?
This facility is available for logged users only. Go to video details page of any video to find 'Add to Favorite' option. If you want to add the current video to your favorite list, click on the option and the video will be added as your favorite one.Your favorite list is available for those users who visit your profile.
How do I add a video to my playlist?
This facility is available for logged users only. Go to video details page of any video to find ‘Add to Playlist’ option. Click on that option. If you haven't created any playlist, it will ask you to create a new playlist. Once you have your own Playlist, you can add any number of videos to the Playlist. While creating a Playlist you have the privilege to set the access as "Private" or "Public". The Public Playlist will be visible to any user who visits your profile. But the private playlist can only be viewed by you
How can I take my friends to Watchyoulike?
You can invite your friends to Watchyoulike.com using the 'Invite Friend' feature in My page. Watchyoulike's 'Refer Watchyoulike' option generates a referral URL with which you can post blogs to invite your readers to Watchyoulike.com. Also, there is an 'Email to Friend' option in video details page.
Where I find "My Information"?
In order to reach your personal information page, click on My Page tab (which is shown only after successful login). In this page you can edit or update your personal information. You can also view your favorite videos, recently watched videos and the users who visited your profile recently.
How do I rate a video, channel, playlist or a user?
This facility is available for logged users only. You can give rating by just clicking the stars.
How do I comment a video?
This facility is available for logged users only. In video details page, there is an option to comment the current playing video.
How do I tag a video, channel, playlist or a user?
This facility is available for logged users only. After successful login, you can give tags to videos, channels, playlists or users by clicking 'AddTag' option.
What will I do when I find a video violating the Terms and Privacy Policies of Watchyoulike?
You can report that video as abuse. We can find a portion in video details page to report a video as abuse.
